Important limitations
Use the result as an estimate, not a guarantee.
The usefulness of every calculation and review depends on the quality and completeness of the information supplied.
Calculator limitations
- Results depend on the figures entered.
- The calculator does not guarantee that a job will be profitable.
- Actual labour, material, access, programme and site conditions may differ.
- Unexpected conditions, customer changes and third-party delays can alter the final cost.
- The user is responsible for checking scope, costs, taxes, VAT, insurance and contract terms.
Not professional or technical advice
The website and quote-review service provide practical commercial estimates and editable wording. They are not accounting, tax, legal, surveying, quantity-surveying, engineering, health-and-safety, trade-specific technical or contractual advice. Appropriate professional advice may be necessary for complex, high-value, regulated or disputed work.
What one quote review covers
Each purchase covers one commercial quote, its draft scope and proposed payment schedule within the purchased review level. Supporting plans or technical documents may provide context but are not checked for technical accuracy. Material changes to the project, price basis or scope may require a new review.
When the review begins
The review begins only after payment has been checked, sufficient legible information has been received and WorthTheJob has confirmed that work is starting. If information is incomplete, the turnaround clock does not start until the necessary information arrives.
Turnaround and delivery
The normal target is within two working days for Small and Standard reviews and three working days for Complex reviews, counted from receipt of complete information. The expected return date is confirmed before work begins. Findings and the revised proposal are normally delivered by email in copyable text or PDF-ready form.
Amendments
Where a review level includes one amendment round, it covers one set of reasonable corrections or clarifications requested within seven days of delivery. A new scope, materially changed price, substantial new evidence or redesigned project is not an amendment.
Wrong review level
If the purchased level is not suitable, WorthTheJob will contact the buyer before beginning. The buyer may pay any difference, move to a more suitable level or receive a refund if they do not wish to continue.
Prices and VAT
The Square checkout shows the total amount payable. No separate amount is added by this website unless it is clearly displayed before payment. The buyer remains responsible for the tax and VAT treatment of their own quote and business.
Files and confidentiality
Customers should remove unnecessary personal information before sending files. Working copies are normally deleted within 30 days after delivery. Basic order, payment and correspondence records may be retained where necessary for accounting, legal or dispute-handling purposes.
Cancellations and service commencement
Consumer cancellation rights can depend on the circumstances and whether the customer asks for a service to begin during a cancellation period. Work will not begin until WorthTheJob confirms commencement. The final checkout and fulfilment process should be reviewed against current UK consumer-law requirements.
Refunds and complaints
Contact reviews@worththejob.co.uk with the order details and concern. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
