Quote value is only a guide.

Complexity, stages, subcontractors and the quality of the information may matter more than the price. If the wrong level is purchased, we contact you before starting so you can pay the difference, switch level or receive a refund.

Who reviews the quote?

A manual commercial check, not an anonymous score.

WorthTheJob is operated by Nothing Next Ltd. Each paid review is completed by a real person using the published seven-part method below. The purpose is to challenge the commercial logic of the quote and improve how it is presented.

We do not pretend this replaces a quantity surveyor, estimator, accountant, solicitor, engineer or experienced trade specialist. Technical design, measurements, compliance and workmanship methods remain the responsibility of the business and any appropriately qualified advisers.

The seven-part review

  1. Direct costs and wastage
  2. Labour, hidden time and duration
  3. Overhead contribution
  4. Contingency and fragile assumptions
  5. Deposit and cash exposure
  6. Scope, exclusions and dependencies
  7. Discount and payment pressure

What happens next

A simple, private review. No complicated software required.

  1. Complete as much of the free calculator as practical.
  2. Buy the most suitable review through Square.
  3. Export the job or print the internal costing and proposal drafts.
  4. Email the files to reviews@worththejob.co.uk using the checkout email address.
  5. We check the payment and information, then confirm the reviewer and expected return date before work begins.

Do not send unnecessary customer personal information. A town or general job location is normally enough for the commercial review.

What comes back by email

  • A concise findings summary
  • Missing costs and assumptions to reconsider
  • Margin, discount and funding warnings
  • Recommended scope and exclusion changes
  • A polished customer proposal in copyable text or PDF-ready form
  • One amendment round where included

One quote

Each purchase covers one commercial quote, its draft scope and proposed payment schedule. A materially changed project is a new review.

The clock starts when complete

If information is missing, we ask for it first. The stated turnaround begins when the necessary files have arrived and the review is confirmed.

Prices shown are final at checkout

The Square checkout shows the total payable. No separate amount is added by this website unless Square clearly displays it before payment.

Questions before buying

What the review is and is not

What do I send after payment?

Export the WorthTheJob job file or save the internal costing sheet and draft proposal as PDFs, then email them using the same address entered at checkout.

How long does it take?

The normal target is within two working days for Small and Standard reviews and three working days for Complex reviews, counted from receipt of complete information. The expected return date is confirmed before work begins.

What is the amendment round?

Where included, it covers one set of reasonable corrections or clarifications requested within seven days of delivery. A new scope, major price change or redesigned project is not an amendment.

What if I buy the wrong review level?

We contact you before beginning. You can pay any difference, move to a more suitable level or receive a refund if you do not wish to continue.

How are my files handled?

Working copies are normally deleted within 30 days after delivery. Basic order, payment and correspondence records may be retained where needed for accounting, legal or dispute-handling purposes.

Do you guarantee the job will make a profit?

No. Actual costs and site conditions can change. The service identifies assumptions, omissions and commercial risks based on the information supplied.

Is this legal, technical or contractual advice?

No. Complex or high-risk projects may need advice from an accountant, solicitor, quantity surveyor, engineer or other appropriately qualified professional.
